Dear Crestview Families,

It is with great excitement that I will be joining the Crestview Elementary community as your principal this school year! I can't wait to meet each family and get to know everyone. Working together, we can build on the tremendous opportunities and create a strong partnership for learning and achievement. Please do not hesitate to reach out to share your ideas, insights, and questions about your Crestview experience.

I am proud of the more than 2 decades as a devoted military spouse and parent. In addition, my professional work experience in education includes 24 years of diverse experience in teaching grades 1, 3, 4 & 5; instructional coaching in grades TK-12; and other site and district-level leadership assignments.

Members of the Crestview community have shared their questions, ideas, and feedback with me, and I have used this information to have a few focus areas starting next school year:

safe and supportive learning environments
communication and community engagement
student outcomes

Connecting with families is very important to building our community. Listed below are the many ways to connect with me this school year:

I will be out front at pick up and drop off regularly.
PTA meetings.
Cougar Connect events - in-person and virtual community events for students and families. More information to come.
One-on-one meeting times will be available.
